Only 17 km away from Guarda lies the skiing area Motta Naluns at an altitude of 1250 to 2785 meters in the Silvretta mountains. The area, which has been awarded as a top ski resort with 80 kilometers of slopes, can be reached comfortably by train and from Scuol the gondola lift will take you to the top. Well-maintained trails await you, for example the cross-country skiing trail from Giarsun to Maloja with about 70 kilometers.
