Guarda - at any time of the year like in a picture book. Original, idyllic, enchanted - and therefore so extraordinary. The historic village with its sgraffito-decorated Engardiner houses from the 17th century lies on a plateau at 1653 m above sea level, surrounded by the magnificent mountains of the Silvretta mountains with the local mountain "Piz Buin" and the imposing panorama of the "Lower Engadine Dolomites". Thanks to the public car park at the entrance to the village, Guarda is practically car-free.
Mountains and Natur give freedom
Since the summer of 2021, Guarda has been part of the "Mountaineering Villages" cooperation with its neighbors Ardez and Lavin. The label stands for Alpine resorts with natural and sustainable tourism in attractive Alpine surroundings, whose greatest potential lies in their originality, tradition and culture.

Spring shows its wonderful wildflower meadows. Summer lures with fantastic hikes from the hotel or to the nearby Swiss National Park. Autumn lives up to its golden spectacle of colours.
